A day in the life

Moments. There are so many moments that make our day. Often these moments seem so insignificant but everything we do builds - is our life - and that is anything but insignificant. Child of God. Wife. Mother. Preacher's wife. Fitness enthusiast. Food and health lover. Cook. Maid. Daughter. Friend. Sister. We wear so many amazing hats each and every day of our lives. You are awesome!

Speaking of a day in the life; here are a few moments out of my day.

Day begins with gym workout at 5am:

Got an awesome 7x7x7 arm workout in today, and about 40 flights on the Stairmaster before I got an SOS text from my husband that baby won't settle for anything but.....MOM (new hat) :)

It is so hard for me to get out of bed early in the morning, but one thing I love about it is being so productive early in the morning. Showers, dishes, laundry, breakfasts, grocery order submitted, all before 7:30am.

Baby napped - quality time with big girl.

10am - off to work for a few hours. Thankful for an amazing friend who stepped in to help watch the girls while I popped over the work, since covering a maternity leave started a few weeks earlier than planned (babies come when they want to!)

Work, spend a few hours with a friend while girls played with friends. Picked up groceries. Always fun when you realize you missed a few items on your online order and have to go into the store anyway :)

Back home and grocery unloading, lots of baby snuggling (cranky since she has had bad allergies), and then dinner. I love when I have meals prepped I can just pull out so I don't have to spend a lot of time cooking every day.

Meals for a few days: Grilled chicken, brown rice, roasted carrots. Interested in counting macros? Myfitnesspal is awesome! I'm also happy to help. Love that we can spend more time as a family and less time cleaning up dirty dishes.

Bathtime, play time, story time, girls to bed, means...time for a SNACK! :) A little yoplait caramel custard with granola, peanuts, and dark chocolate chips.

Other highlights:

My baby girl wrote MOM by herself! My heart exploded! I love watching her grow and learn and her joy for life.

Moments...so fleeting by so meaningful. And God has blessed me with each of these moments. I want to cherish them and am so thankful for them. God is good!

"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Col. 3:17
